I also like it when the process is running. In my presentation to the Expert Elite group, I mentioned that sometimes bugs that appeared during the beta period are not considered fixed, because by fixing one thing, we risk forming something else. So instead of postponing our chances and dealing with all dilemmas, we are postponing those with riskier treatments until a support package or a future release. While technical previews have a lot more wiggle room in this regard, they’re early in development [and free], but they’re still open to the same issues.

In May, the Autodesk research team promptly updated Project Chronicle. They improved the Beta Chronicle ability:

  • Fixed issues with Autodesk AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT plugins.
  • Improved proxy support for computer networks.
  • However, as part of the implementation, they broke the logging path for some Windows NT users. They didn’t accidentally break it for men and women, just for Windows NT users. Laboratories warned coosociety, and a new Autodesk research group solved the problem. I posted a new version the other day on the same day. Of course, Windows NT users can download it from the Autodesk Labs website.

  • Download the Chronicle project from Autodesk Labs
  • Thanks to the community for reporting bugs. Thanks to the team for solving the problem. I know Windows NT users would love to be browsers again.
